Oakland Park Historical Society presents its 1st Tea and Tales!

Friday, March 1 -   7-9 pm

Jaco Pastorius Community Center.

Share stories and anecdotes, and make new friends.
Tea and treats will be provided

Have you been hiding your inner story-teller, or wondering about the old days in Oakland Park?  The Oakland Park Historical Society will bring historic images, stories and memories to share at this event which we hope to hold on a regular basis. Please join us to share stories about Floranada, Colahatchee and Oakland Park from the earliest records to present.

Come hear great stories, share your memories and those that have been handed down to you about our city and hear those of other Oakland Park friends and residents. We will have a prize for the best story, selected by popular vote of those in attendance!

Admission free - Donations gladly accepted

If you need transportation or are willing to give someone a ride, contact the Oakland Park Historical Society and we’ll try to connect you.
